在J.M.
The Children of the Street ,by J.M. Barrie, Chapter XIII (searchable text here ) The children were sitting on the steps to their home when Peter came by and asked them what they were doing. “We are making a new toy for you”, said one of the girls, “and it’s all made of sugar-plums and spice cake and holly leaves and berries. Isn’t it nice? But we can’t finish it before tomorrow morning as we want to decorate it with moss and lichen”(13)
The Naughty Boy ,by J.M. Barrie …the moment he saw his sister he flew at her like a little dragon; but she was too quick for him and had him by both ears and was pulling his hair(15) The Lost Girl ,by J.M. Barrie The mother was very angry with Peter. “You naughty, naughty girl!” she cried, “you have hurt Molly so that she cannot walk, and now you will not tell us where you have been or what you have done. I won't have your horrid lies. You must go up to bed immediately and think what a wicked thing you have done"(20) 如果Peter是个女孩子的话,上面的情节简直完美契合。
